A lot of backyards in newer neighborhoods share the same problem - open, exposed, and not really usable. You've got neighbors on both sides, a fence that doesn't do much for privacy, and a yard that just sits there. That's exactly what we were working with here.

What we ended up with is a clean, large-format paver patio that gives the homeowner a real outdoor living space. The pavers are laid in a simple grid pattern with a darker border detail along the edge - it's a small touch that makes the whole thing look intentional and finished. No clutter, no overthinking it. Just a solid, functional surface that can handle years of use.

The privacy piece was just as important as the patio itself. We installed a row of arborvitae trees along the back fence line to block the sightlines from neighboring properties. They're already full enough to create separation, and they'll only get better as they fill in. Combined with the existing black aluminum fence, the yard feels like an actual private space now.

A stainless steel fire pit anchors the patio and gives it a purpose beyond just somewhere to stand. It's the kind of setup where you can actually picture people using it - chairs pulled up, fire going. That's the goal with every backyard hardscaping job we do. Build something that gets used, not just something that looks good in photos.

Simple, durable, and designed around how people actually live outside. That's the approach we bring to every paver patio and outdoor living space we build.
